Extended length trailer added to fleet

Extended trailer HPHThe first 30-pallet trailers in High Cube Network livery has been added to the HCN fleet. The 15.6m trailer is part of the government’s extended length trailer consultation.

Mick Wilson, MD of HCN says: “We think these longer trailers make perfect sense, particularly as the nature of the loads we transport is high volume but low weight. They mean we can carry 4 more pallets than in a standard length trailer, yet still be within the maximum weight permitted on UK roads. Used on a regular basis, it means less congestion, less CO2, less cost.”
